Doing Devotions Daily

This week i took a break from everything and set a day a side for just the Lord and me. I wanna tell you how amazing God really is. I love Him every day so much more. I realize how selfish i can be at times. But you know what everything is going to change. I am a new person and Thank God cause it was time for me to see that i needed to change. But i wanna let you guys know how important doing devotions is. It is the only thing that can fulfill you and being with God is amazing. You feel refreshed, freedom from the world. God has set me free today. I thank God that He adopted me into his family. So i strongly encourage you people to read His Word every day and i promise you will not be sorry.

Waiting On God

This week i have been learning more and more on waiting for Him. I have learned that he hasn't worked in our time but in His time. How many times do we pray for things to happen and then they do not happen in correct time? We get frustrated because nothing happens and then we think is God really real or even alive.
God is a mystery. Because he always answers our prayers but not always the way we want Him too. He is always faithful. This couple of months i have been wanting a job and getting pretty desperate because i need the money to be able to go on in this life. I was getting pretty impatient about it too. I had one job opportunity and i had to wait till they contacted me but I was very impatient for it to happen. i could not just sit back and wait for the people to get back to me. My friend sat me down and read a verse to me out of the Bible and it goes like this: "Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.Lord." Psalm 37:7. Wow did not that blow my mind. I was just being selfish and not letting the Lord to work in my life. So be encouraged and wait patiently on Him. The more you wait the more beauitful He makes you. Hope this encourages all of you.
